Join us in our first touch of Tarot here at Float! We are excited to host our good friend Steven Alexander as he leads 12 guests through an introduction to the reading of Tarot. A practice or pass-time with long roots, Tarot is an interesting and insightful means to practice introspection and internal inquiry.
In this 2 hour introductory workshop, Steve will go over a brief history of Tarot, what sparked his interest in the practice, and some foundation explanation of the language associated. You’ll get some basics about Tarot decks, how to choose and care for yours, and how to prepare for a reading. The workshop will wrap up with a sample group reading to see the practice in action. We plan on this class being the foundation of a multi-part series taking a deeper look into the mysteries of the decks.
